Our Mission

Saint Nicholas House is a house of hospitality and prayer in Brookline, NH.

As a house of hospitality, we welcome all, but have designed the house and backyard farm particularly with children in mind. We seek to create a joy-filled atmosphere where children experience kindness, generosity, and unconditional love, whether they are here for worship and spiritual formation, to visit the animals, to tend the gardens, to create something in the workshop, to play in the woods, for a karate class or barn party, or simply to enjoy a moment of peace.

In the spirit of hospitality, everything we offer to children is free of charge.

As a house of prayer, Saint Nicholas House is open regularly to host daily prayer, worship on Sundays and Holy Days throughout the year, guided prayer retreats, and children’s catechesis.

In all this, we seek to manifest the kindness of God to our community and to all who may enjoy the hospitality of this home.
