Farm Camp 2026

Children age 5+ are invited to a week of fun at our Children’s Farm. Enjoy mornings full of hands-on farm experiences, music, games, stories, crafts, and more! Camp is offered free of charge.

Farm Camp is an annual opportunity for us to celebrate our place in this world, and our ongoing relationships with the earth, its creatures, one another, and God our Creator. Many of Jesus’ teachings were given in an agricultural context, and the farm is a great place to encounter them in a deeper way.

This year, we will focus on the theme of protection. Much of our energy on the farm is spent protecting the living things in our care from any dangers, large and small. This isn’t just a nuisance; it is part of what we were made to be, protectors of life.

Our Children’s Farm

We are developing our two-acre lot into a diverse backyard farmstead featuring chickens, dairy goats, vegetable gardens, maple sugaring, a berry patch, and a recently planted orchard.

Much of the daily care of land and animals is carried out by, or in partnership with, our children. Through our open farm days, we invite neighbors of all ages to join us in the work, and the joy, of the farm.

These core values guide our work:

  1. Environmental Sustainability– We seek to develop practices that leave the land better off, creatively transforming patterns of waste into cycles of fruitfulness.
  2. Whole Person Development– Working together on the farm is a context for skill development, environmental education, character formation, healthy socialization, and spiritual growth.
  3. Generosity– We best enjoy the produce of the farm when we share it with those who work with us, with our guests, and with those in need.

Farm Visits

We enjoy welcoming guests, whether individuals, families, school or community groups, for farm visits. If you’d like to arrange a field trip, join us for a day of farm work, or just stop by to pet a goat, contact us to set up a time.

Open Farm Days

As special moments arise throughout the year, we host Open Farm Days. Friends of all ages are invited to work with us as we care for the animals and tend the gardens. Develop skills and knowledge, enjoy the outdoors, work alongside friends, and enjoy the farm with us!

To keep up-to-date with open farm opportunities as they arise (often at short notice, since we are often keeping a close eye on growth and weather patterns) follow us on our social media.
